The vibrator is the power source of the vibrating screen, which drives the screen body to vibrate through the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the eccentric mass. There are usually the following situations for vibrator failure:

Heavy load start-up: Production or other equipment failures may cause the screen box to be filled with ore. At this time, restarting the vibrator is very likely to damage the universal coupling and other parts. Therefore, restarting the vibrating screen under heavy load should be avoided.

Damage to the vibration reduction system: Failure of the vibration reduction spring or excessive accumulation of materials under the screen will cause the vibration reduction system to be uncoordinated, thereby damaging the vibrator. Check the vibration reduction spring regularly, replace the failed and deformed springs in time, and ensure that the spring stiffness before and after replacement is consistent.

Installation problems during maintenance: Improper adjustment of the vibrator gap during maintenance will cause errors in the axial and radial gaps between the vibrator and the motor, the universal coupling, and the relative position of the vibrator eccentric block, causing the vibrator to vibrate too much and generate high temperature. When installing, you should try to choose the same type of motors with the same damping and the same downtime to ensure that the two motors run synchronously; before installing the vibrator, you must ensure that the two motors run in opposite directions; the motor and the vibrator must be in the same vertical plane. Especially during maintenance, the quality of the eccentric wheels used by a pair of vibrators used at the same time must be consistent.
