The amplitude is an important technical parameter of vibrating screen, which affects screening efficiency and production. In general, in order to facilitate use, in the design of vibrating screen, the amplitude can be adjusted size, if the vibrating screen amplitude can be reduced some larger, conversely, by adjusting the amplitude of the device to control the speed of screening.
Amplitude refers to the vibration of the vibrating screen amplitude, refers to the screen box half of the working journey, expressed with A. In MM. Such as: general linear vibrating screen amplitude of about 4-6, then the screen box for 8-12 mm, the screen box is usually called the whole range of amplitude. A screen whose amplitude is the radius of the orbital circle is a circular vibrating screen .
Vibration screen amplitude adjustment step:
- 1.First judge the vibration screen in the working state, the amplitude can meet the screening operation requirements, if not, you can adjust the amplitude;
- 2. Turn off the power supply;
- Remove the guard from the vibrator;
- Change the excitation force of the vibrator by placing the outermost of each pair of counterweights on the vibrator shaft;
- Place the counterweights at the same percentage of the maximum excitation force, lock eccentric block;
- 6.Pay attention to the vibration source on the vibrating screen, that is, the vibration exciter or vibration motor must be the same amount of adjustment, otherwise it will cause damage to the equipment.
Three, different adjustment methods:
- 1. If the vibration source is exciter, can increase (reduce) the weight of the eccentric block (increase, reduce the sub-eccentric)
- 2.If is the vibration motor, the amplitude adjustment depends on the angle between the eccentric blocks at both ends of the motor shaft to change the magnitude of the exciting force, the angle is small, the exciting force is large, the amplitude is large, conversely, the angle is large, the exciting force is small, the amplitude is small;
- The counterweight flywheel and the counterweight block on the belt pulley can be added or subtracted to increase or subtract the amplitude of the vibrating screen. Also note: the vibrating screen on the vibration source (exciter or vibration motor) must be the same amount of regulation, otherwise it will cause damage to equipment.
