Polyurethane Impact Panel - 45 mm Impact Zone | TSX Screen
The impact panel is a full-polyurethane panel (610 x 610 x 45 mm, 25 kg) installed directly under the feed chute or feed box of a vibrating screen. Its 45 mm impact zone takes the punishment of falling, high-speed material so the screening panels downstream keep their aperture and last longer.

Why an Impact Panel Pays for Itself
- The feed zone is where screening decks fail first — sharp, fast material chews through wire cloth and even standard PU panels. A sacrificial impact panel protects the row of screen decks behind it.
- No screen wire to break: the solid 45 mm polyurethane body cannot tear or unravel, so there is no sudden product contamination from cloth failure.
- Same 610 × 610 mm module as the rest of the deck — swap positions as wear patterns develop.
Applications
- Feed-end protection on coal dewatering and desliming screens
- Feed boxes of fine-screening machines in mineral processing plants
- Any deck position receiving direct material impact
FAQ
Is the impact panel a screening panel?
No — it is a solid wear panel without apertures. Its job is to absorb impact and spread the feed evenly onto the screening panels downstream. For drainage duty at the feed end, combine it with dam cross panels.
Does it fit the same rails as the standard screen deck?
Yes. It uses the same 610 × 610 mm footprint as our flat and dam panels, so no deck modification is needed.
