Vibrating screen is a kind of screening machine widely used in screening equipment. Its mesh size ranges from 0.15 to 150 mm. It can be used not only for screening coarse, medium and fine particles, but also for dehydration, desliming and other separation operations.
Vibrating screen also has high production capacity and screening efficiency, which can reach 98%. Therefore, most concentrators generally use vibrating screen for screening. There are many kinds of screening machines, and there are mainly eight types at present. Here is a brief introduction to the advantages and disadvantages of these eight types of vibrating screens.
1、 Circular motion vibrating screen
YA type circular vibrating screen can be divided into light and heavy type, pedestal type and hanging type, with a working area of 4m2 to 14m2. The utility model has the advantages that the screen box has strong vibration, reduces screen hole blockage, and has high screening efficiency and productivity; Strong structure, convenient replacement of screen surface, fatigue resistance, long service life and low noise.
2、 Single shaft vibrating screen
The name of the single shaft vibrating screen comes from that it vibrates a single-layer screen by a vibrator, which can be divided into suspension type and seat type. The number of layers can be divided into single-layer and double-layer. The transmission forms can be divided into left and right. The sieve plates include perforated sieve plate, woven sieve mesh, and rubber sieve mesh (Xinhai wear-resistant sieve mesh is the best one in China at present). It has the advantages of simple structure, easy maintenance, stable operation, reliable operation, high efficiency, good sieve permeability, and is commonly used as the classification of medium and fine materials.
3、 Double shaft vibrating screen
Two shaft vibrating screen refers to two vibrators vibrating the double-layer screen. Take the double shaft equal thickness vibrating screen (ZSD type) as an example. Its screen surface adopts the broken line type with different inclinations. The thickness of the material layer from the feeding end to the discharging end is constant or increasing, while the movement speed of the material on the screen surface is decreasing. It can be used for dry or wet screening of medium and small particle materials such as coal and ore.
4、 horizontal vibrating screen
There are two types of linear vibrating screens, ZKX, which can handle large, medium and fine materials, and ZKB, which is suitable for dehydration, dementering, desliming and dry or wet material grading of fine materials.
The reason why it is called linear vibrating screen is that its motion track is a straight line. Its advantages are compact structure, high strength and reasonable vibration parameters; Fatigue resistance, long service life, convenient maintenance and good reliability; Stable vibration and low noise; The motion track of each point on the screen surface is the same, which is conducive to screening materials and has high screening efficiency. The disadvantages are complex structure, high manufacturing accuracy, difficult amplitude adjustment, heavy vibrator, etc.
There are types of vibrating screens, each of which has its own advantages. When selecting vibrating screens, we must consider the characteristics of different vibrating screens to ensure screening efficiency and production efficiency.
