What Is Dehydration Cyclone?

The dewatering cyclone consists of a hollow cylinder at the upper part and an inverted cone connected with the cylinder at the lower part, which form the working cylinder of the dewatering cyclone. In addition, the hydrocyclone has ore feeding pipe, overflow pipe, overflow pipe and sand settling mouth. In addition, the hydrocyclone has the advantages of no moving parts, simple structure, large production capacity per unit volume, small area, classification rate as high as 80%~90%, fine classification particle size, low cost, low material consumption, etc.

Firstly, the classification of hydrocyclones is introduced, which can be divided into classification hydrocyclones, dehydration hydrocyclones, desliming hydrocyclones, slag removal hydrocyclones, concentration hydrocyclones and special hydrocyclones for tailings dry discharge according to their functions.

The production and installation environment adopts different structural design, which has the advantages of low pressure, large processing capacity and high dehydration efficiency. It is applied to the dewatering operation of a tailings re concentration pulping. Under the condition of 5 – 12% ore feed concentration and 75% of – 200 mesh content, the average overflow concentration of the cyclone is controlled below 1.5%.

Desliming cyclone

The high-efficiency dewatering cyclone is mainly used for the desliming operation of various metal ores and non-metallic pulp. High efficiency desliming cyclone

Case: The argillaceous minerals of tailings discarded from a silica placer mine account for 12.7%, fineness – 325 mesh accounts for 39.3%, and almost all argillaceous minerals are stored in – 325 mesh grade. Deslagging cyclone

Deslagging cyclone: used for wet desulfurization of power plants, lime pulping, crude oil deslagging, tap water desanding and sewage disposal
